Gimme gimme gimme (a man after midnight) is written by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. ABBA released the song in october 1979 and it was on their album Greatest Hits Vol.2.

The Sisters of mercy covered the song live on 5 gigs in USA and England in april 1984 according to setlist.fm (www.setlist.fm/stats/the-sisters-of-mercy-7bd6b234…) . This cover is inspired by The Sisters-arrangement and the two versions that are available on youtube.

This is how I recorded Gimme Gimme Gimme

I started to program the drums on october 9th 2022, recording guitars and vocals and the mix and master were finished on november 2nd.

I used Toontrack's EZdrummer 3 and the Dream pop EZX. (Body snare, Garage kick 1, 909 closed hihats, Mattias Crash 1 & 2). For the toms I used the TR-909 1 & 3 from EZX Electronic. I used Cubase internal stuff and EZmix for all guitar, bass guitar and vocals.
