The messages you send out in your music, not only help people like my child, understand that they aren't as alone as they think they are. My gorgeous child, just turned 21, on June 14th, has taught me so many amazing things. Today's youth are tomorrow's future. At the age of 47, what I went through as a teen, is nothing, compared to what todays young generation has to go through. I believe I'm generation Z, the next one after boomer, but parents in both those categories and even after, have their noses so far up, what society believes children should look, act, think like, that most want to end their lives, before they even start. My child came to me at 12, asking to be acknowledged as a boy, both their father and I said no, you weren't born that way, this sent my wonderful, sweet, child, down a dark, depression, and I'll never,EVER forgive myself for this. Now, my child has taught me about life, and the finer, more amazing, genius things and people life has to offer. They struggle with mental health issues, that won't ever change, but because I have, we are closer than ever. If I could tell parents anything, make them understand, life isn't meat and potatoes, it's colourful, and today's youth are that colour. They are genius in their thinking, sit and talk with your children, you will have the most amazing time, I think alot of parents are worried that their children are smarter than them, live with your child/ren, you might just love it. Boey is my bestfriend, soul child, and I would die without them. Thank you for spreading your music to people of all ages willing to love it, thank you for being you.
