Train your legs as well gents ... squats are awesome and you don't need to get all crazy with the weight. I started at 10 pounds and worked my way up to 100 pounds and I'm not planning on going any heavier just increasing the set's as they get easier.

dumbbell pullovers are the #1 exercise for getting an aesthetic v-taper, they hit your serratus and expand your rib cage in that deep stretch better than any other exercise. frank zane, the king of aesthetics, used this exercise to build his physique and it’s often referred to as the squat of the upper body by old school bodybuilders edit: try these holding a kettlebell, far superior in my opinion as you can go deeper into the stretch

I have a crazy v-taper, and I gotta say calisthenics gave me that. Doing different pullups, and later, weighted pullup, variations, along with parallel bar dips and pushups works everything for v-taper, especially serratus. Being a nerd paid off.

If you are on a shorter side, you will get results quicker since your frame is smaller and does not need that much muscle to fill it. So being a short king has it's perks fr

Most body builders don't actually train abs. Most free-weight exercises are core intensive anyway so they just focus on getting to really low body fat levels and letting the genetics handle the rest
