Great topic…hard to address fully in a short video tho…been reading a bit of Paula Fredriksen’s work (When Christians were Jews) and it drives home that the message of Jesus (Messiah) was very much political to Rome…they responded to the political threat in a predictable way… crucifixion. Where she differs from N.T. Wright is her observation that his followers did not pose a political threat or they would have accompanied Jesus on crosses. Interesting stuff for sure…Looking forward to more topics and discussions! Book reviews would be great also 📚 Cheers, Byron
