As a woman with a more masculine temperament, I experienced this first hand throughout my life being lower in agreeableness. Iāve always gravitated towards men who are not hypermasculine in a sense, especially since Iām not hyperfeminine. This is why Iāve struggled like Mikhaila in befriending most girls growing up. My boyfriend is pretty neurotic and empathic like me, but he is much more agreeable than me, which makes him seriously hate any sort of confrontation. I love how safe he makes me feel and he doesnāt start fights just for the sake of starting them. We talk things through and move on. He is a bit neurotic like me where we are over-thinkers, so I think two neurotic people can be with each other, but both needs to reassure the other and be strong for them like my boyfriend does for me and eases my burdens. Unlike my previous relationships, where they did not make me feel safe or were able to be present with me when I was upset. Iām very lucky :)

The fact that stress releases a bonding chemical for men explains why soldiers are forever bonded to their "brothers in arms." My husband's lifelong friends are the ones he met in the army, and they still try to get together every year though they all live in different places throughout the country.

This was quite out of character for a JBP podcast, as he appeared so charmingly and intimately with his bride and daughter. It was wonderfully revealing of the incomparable Dr. Peterson in an unguarded conversation with two of the most consequential women in his life. Very heartwarming! I confess that I had no idea what the three of them were technically discussing, but I really enjoyed their familial interaction. At the conclusion I felt that I knew him profoundly better from a human point of view, than as just the towering intellectual personality he is where we normally encounter him. Its impossible not to like and admire Dr. Peterson in both roles, father and husband as well as brilliant philosopher and world renowned celebrity.

I think the public has always loved strong female leads, even over the top badasses. Ripley in Alien is a major icon, introduced over 40 years ago. Sarah Connor, the cyborg defeating mother in the Terminator series. Woke movies, on the other hand, are all about putting 'the patriarchy' in its place, preaching to the audience from their imaginary moral high ground, and they abandoned the hero's journey. In Woke Hollywood, women are powerful badasses because they're women, not because they earned it or faced brutal hardship, challenging them to step up. Audiences just want an entertaining storyline basically. The original Star Wars was a simplistic fairy tale but hugely successful because it embraced the hero's journey. Luke journeyed from innocent farm-boy to Jedi Knight, defeating evil! Had he been a woman, I think the series would have been just as successful, even in the 1970s.
