My friend used to put Rob in his backpack and bring him to school. One day on the bus he got into a fight with a kid and the other kid grabbed Rob and threw him out the window. Rob didn't make it.

Remember seeing the little robot as a kid and wanting it. Shame my parents had divorced and my mum was now on the breadline. She did manage to get me a SNES though which to this day I appreciate as she had 3 jobs at the time and it was hard for her. Great memories of playing that as a kid though. Thanks mum.

If only more companies had that attitude "This industry is doing badly due to incompetence, not that customers are magically not interested in this anymore" you can pick almost anything. Television, music, toys...

Who would’ve thought that this robot made video games survive to today. Could they have done it without him? Maybe, but who knows what would be different. Thank you, ROB

4:14 "Why buy a video game console, when you could buy a PC?" They were already making master race arguments in 1983

You made Rob look like an insane Nintendo toy... I agree

Oops. They tried to make the NES not look like a video game console, and it accidentally became the most recognizable video game console of all time.
