I'll be honest, I'm not really bothered with graduations anymore. I've matured to think it's just quitting a job for a better opportunity or lifestyle. If you're lucky, they reappear in another medium, if not, you get to see them off in a nice farewell.
However, this graduation is just straight up a termination. We only got a nicely worded letter and a cold drop of a beloved talent. It felt like an obituary than anything else. Everyone is basically confused, and I doubt we'll be having answers anytime soon. Though I'm sure everyone will eventually move on, this will however be an awkward footnote that will break the easygoing nature of NijiEN.

I think he did a great job at making the situation sound as graceful as possible but thereâs a reason why itâs hard to make these types of statements as an entertainer
Some people would chuckle when talking about hard stuff, and when ppl are forced to guess their way through the context, you really donât want to be easily misinterpretable by chuckling. The best comparison I can think of is the try guysâ apology video, since they know itâll be the video ppl interpret the situation with, they made it as clear as possible, despite all the jokes theyâll make in the future, they take it seriously, with each of them representing sad, disappointed, and mad.

Itâs heart broken to hear him talk because you can hear it in his voice that heâs trying so so hard not to cry on stream, hes laughing and chuckling through the pain. I know him and everyone else will need a lot of time to process and recover.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one here experiencing this, but I've never tuned into any of Yugo's streams before his sudden graduation. Most of my experience of watching him comes from his appearance in collabs through the other nijisanji livers. So, the whole situation hits different for me since I'm not entirely sure how to feel personally. I can sympathize with all the YuGuys who were big fans of Yugo since it's heartbreaking when your favorite vtuber graduates, especially Yugo given how sudden it was, but it's difficult for me to empathize. I still feel sadden that he's gone, but I more so feel sad for not getting to experience his content more or get to know him as he presented himself to his fans. Regardless though, even if I didn't get a chance to watch abd become a fan of his I see NijisanjiEN as one big family so his disparture will never be forgotten and he will be missed.
I hope that wherever he goes next, whether it be to continue streaming or pursue something closer to his love for music, that he still has people who love and support him wanting to see him do his best and achieve so much.

Itâs crazy. I was watching Yugoâs vods when the announcement was made. He was my oshi since day one of Noctyxâs debut. I hope he will be okay. My heart goes out to the rest of the members of Noctyx and Nijisanji, and to Yuguys too. I know itâs hard for us because weâve lost our oshi without a proper goodbye, so Iâm giving you all a big warm hug. Letâs hope for the best for our DJ.

I've lost my one and only oshi and I hope that this will be the only time a 'graduation' like this happen. When the time comes for you guys oshi to leave, it will be a proper goodbye.
I will continue to love nijien as a big family, but it will not be the same feeling as i have for yugo anymore...

This reminds me painfully of how Botan was the one to announce and adress Mano Aloe's Graduation Years ago. Fu-chan has that same pain in his voice talking about Yugo, and thos who know him can feel that hes holding back and trying his hardest not to brake.

I do hope everyone can heal and move on. I also hope some people can get answers they want or move on. I know alot of people, understandable so, already were theorizing as to why its as abrupt as it is, but also pointing fingers at the company, or others, also doesnât change the present. Hopefully everyone can be as happy as they can be for as long as possible, i wish that for community and streamers.
