This song really is the song of Gen Z. It’s talking about 100 hours to rearrange the songs (100 years to fix global warming), Gods worst mistake (Seen as a rude and bad generation). Moonsickness is another name for menstrual cycles and again the theme of circles appears showing that this is a circle of life that we (Gen Z) have to figure out how to break. The beast refused to die is a clear way of saying no matter what we do (and with the progression of aggressiveness and gore through the chorus) and no matter how serious we get capitalism and the governments won’t fall. The last line makes the song though: ‘neither will I.’ We as a generation are fighting and continue to fight for our right to live.

I like how this song protrays the feeling of being small. unable to change government, religion, and big social constructs and feeling that one person only has "100 hours" to change this that would take years and years. feeling like that one person and so powerless so thinking you don't belong at it doesn't matter. slowly realising we all are "small" and were "just a kid once" and if she is on the right side of the story she needs to stay until it's is all fixed. even if her as an individual is not much that there are many like her and when those ppl come together the kill the beastry she will matter. if everyone had that mindset there would be no one to fight so as long as the world is fucked of she can't die

I think maybe the reason we all relate to this song is because of the standard our generation is held to. We're expected to solve all these problems but as we start to pay attention to the news and politics we start to lose hope. The 100 hours to rearrange the stars part I think is a metaphor for global warming. We're running out of time to fix a problem that we have no idea how to solve. Everything is a disaster right now and we've grown up being told that now it's our responsibility to fix it all even though we're so young. Let me know if someone wants my full interpretation or feel free to reply with yours, I'd love to hear some other opinions.
