The placement of the sponsor made me chuckle quite a bit.

9:56 This is what drives me insane more than anything. It makes communication impossible when everything transnational corporations are doing to you is blamed on “the government.”

Exactly! I am Greek and my parents didn't vote for Golden Dawn because 'they were violent' but if they were more 'friendly' and civilized they would gladly vote them!

To me, the most terrifying moment in protesting history is when we were forced to place protest with the government so that there is no real disruption

That constant vigilance is very tough to muster, esp with ignorance and individualism so prevalent, there is just no tangible community, we don't live together, we have comforts instead. No one gives public speeches anymore to rally people like we saw even in the 60's, there is no feeling, only undercurrent diverted by the busyness of modern life, the dream of having the problems not apply to you.

“Now if you’re the average Ma and Pa multinational corporation democracy is going to piss you off…” Educational AND entertainment I see.

The whole Project 2025 proposal seems like someone read the CliffNotes of Carl Schmitt's work and thought it would make a great HTML5 project lmfao

The issue with combatting freindly facsims is that most of todays opinions are entirely orbital around "tldr." Good luck.

This is exactly the sort of rhetoric I’ve been looking for. A contemporary understanding of modern politics, with reverence for the past but a clear understanding that nothing that has come before is fully able to explain what is happening in the here and now. Politics of days gone by are a lantern to help guide our path, but this forum of diligently describing and discussing the present is the only way we will find peace and prosperity in the future.

The word fascism comes from a bundle of sticks and an axe, which the Roman Empire used to symbolize the right of the state to beat and behead whomever they pleased. This is the naked and literal truth of fascism.

Some day we'll have a better descriptor for this variant of fascism we see today. It's not a WWII style fascism, but a new form of sacrificing logic and democracy in favor of faith and theocratic dogma.
