Nice to see the dark Eldar get some spotlight in a bigger imperium narrative and it highlights the callous pragmatism of the top brass of the imperium that they would condemn millions of people to one of the worst fates imaginable at the hands of evil Xenos to protect the golden throne.

I think everyone is missing the point, the servo skull recorded everything. All the meetings where they discussed everything, so the door is still jar if someone discovers it. Maybe Xenos? cough Exodites to craftworld Aeldari cough 😏

It's Intresting with how it ties into watchers of the throne.
It tied up some loose ends with Valerian wondering where Navradaran went and the fact that no one knows Oud Oudia Raskian is dead

Very good review, I would like to note however that I believe the Servoskull Gorgias landed on an Eldar Maiden World, not a Feral World. So there is a possibility that the skull will be found, just not by humans.

There is somebody else who knows about the throne. The conspiracy was with three high lords. The master of the astronomican, the fabricator general and the third was the speaker of the chartist captains. She ended her involvement after the first book and wiped the records of her involvement but definitely knows. That’s definitely a story line to be picked up late.

I love these stories audiobook mostly listen that way. But really good job they did. On these. Similar with eisenhorn and ravenor I've been listen to them. The watchers of the throne is good too. I loved that sister of silence going into the warp trying to reach terra. During the warp unstable. Such a great story of the heroism of the crew of that ship pushed to it's limits.

Just finished this book last week and it was amazing. Definitely did the first two books about Luce Spinoza justice and the early days of the Primarchs awakening and how things where on Terra. Also gave alot more feeling to Bobby G's return and how bad things where right before hand.
