Stunning, look at the ghost notes in AYM. When Joel stopped using Liberty on the drums lots of his songs lost parts of their DNA live. Liberty has such a presence in Joel's biggest hits. I never understood how you would let such a legendary drummer not be in the band. Liberty was such an entertaining drummer to watch, definitely on many people's lists of top drummers. Drumeo this is an incredibly spectacular insight into Liberty's drumming technique. Totally breathtaking on every level.

Showed up early (very) to a Liberty clinic at Brook Mays Pro Shop in Dallas in the 80's and he talked to me one-on-one for over 30 minutes. GREAT guy, the real deal, and I'll never forget that time. Thank you, Liberty! It meant a lot to a young drummer.
