I'm literally crying, I've been following you and the guys since I'm 13, I really thought I was gonna die of depression thanks to Bipolarity, just like you I found myself in writing, I'm a writer. I remember nobody heard me when I said you were more than big, that you'll be legend, cause I saw that potential and with this song I confirmed those thoughts. I'm 22 today, I survived

"Got to make it to 27, before I die" hits even harder when you know first realize she is 27 right now and knowing what she went through these past years following the deaths of Chris Cornell and Kato (their producer). This quote explainins just how much of a rebirth the album and this song especially is for her and the band. "That (Katos death) was really the nail in the coffin for me, I went into this very, very dark place of just depression and substance abuseā¦ I didnāt really know how to get out of it, and I didnāt know if I wanted to. I hit a point where I kind of just gave up on everything, I gave up on life, I didnāt see the point anymoreā¦ It was rockānāroll that really saved my life.ā

I love this song. It has a ācountry/folkā vibe while still being very rock and roll. Which reminds me of Neil Young. And also her vocals remind me of a cross between Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell because of the delivery but not necessarily because she sounds directly like either. I guess what I am trying to say is it sounds like a classic rock/country-folk/grunge song all rolled into one and I love it.

I'm prob on the "older" side of the fanbase for this band, but FFS is this a great song! While it's not a sad song, the emotion it conveys and the conviction in TM's voice did bring a tear to my eye. Really hoping this is the album that puts the PR over the top & gets them the attention they've long deserved.

Love the references to the greats! The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, the "Forever 27 Club" - (RIP Jimi, Janis, Jim, Kurt ETC.).
Lyrical references - "The great gig in the sky" - Pink Floyd song, "Couldn't get more high" - possibly a reference to lyrics from The Doors - "Light My Fire." I love everything about this song.
Definitely the best track on the CD, (of what's been posted so far). Love Death by Rock n Roll too, but that song seems out of place to the rest of the CD, a purposeful single.

āThought I was done living, but Iāll surviveā Wow. She really made it out for all of us. This is their best album yet. These new songs give me such a comfort I canāt even describe.
