LOVING LOVING LOVING this album. I really love how she manages to hit just about every version of the rock genre. 80s 90s alternative 70s country rock heavy metal hard rock even religious rock. Listening to her albums is like listening to how she would sound in each generation and genre. Its genius and amazing and it spotlights her amazing talent

Love is a vengeance put upon this breed
It takes the highest mountain and brings it to its knees
Down below it hits me and keeps me wearin' this mask
But if I ever meet him, I'll be sure to ask for the light
For the light, for the light, for the light
In the seventh hour
Waitin' in the cold
I can feel the power
I'm turning gold, I'm turning gold
I'm turning gold
Life is an ending starting in the womb
You build a home of brick and mortar, then it is your tomb
And I don't know real, I don't know right
I don't know if I should lay down or fight
But I know that somehow it'll be alright
In the seventh hour
Waitin' in the cold
I can feel the power
I'm turning gold, I'm turning gold
I'm turning gold

The experience that this song and all the others on the album bring us is that it has become gold. In fact, Taylor Momsen has matured her voice, her songwriting and her way of making music, an album like this in such a twisted and insane moment like the one we are living in, her music touches us and has such a rich ideology, she is so young and manages to be mature to the point of being an artist that can't be found in today's, or yesterday's, days... if she had been in the 70's/80's/90's she would be an ICON. But she came after all the icons left, to become unique and start and spread the flame of rock n roll, that is forgotten but about to get warmed up. This woman is the most genuine movement of freedom, power and rock n roll
