It's always so baffling that people would rather try to kill their spouse instead of just getting a divorce.

“typically you don’t wanna vomit, and when you do vomit, you don’t want blood, because that’s not supposed to be in your stomach” wise words from chubbyemu once again

lessons to be learned: 1. just get a divorce if its that bad, dont try to kill someone 2. if you are not on good terms with someone, maybe just prepare your own food and beverages instead of making them do it for you

About three months ago a news story came out about a male doctor installing a hidden camera. The camera cought the Drs wife (also a doctor) pouring drain cleaner into his drinks. So unfortunately this line of particular abuse and attempted murder has occurred recently. Thank-you for covering the affects that drain cleaner can have on the human body.

Definitely hired the best actor for someone who has a podcast and does woodworking. He’s got the look locked down.

"Was able to make a recovery, unlike his marriage" Both are good things.

It takes a special kind of psychopath that can poison someone and watch them becoming ill over and over again. I hope she was prosecuted.

The fact that you can drink drain cleaner for weeks without dying is actually kind of comforting the human body is a wonder

I like how this story goes from a somewhat toxic marriage to literal attempted murder.

I feel really lonely right now, but this video is a reminder of the fact that some people have it worse.

Just want to appreciate the fact that Chubbyemu takes the time to hire actors instead of just using random stock videos! Love it!

This woman is terrifying. Poisoning someone slowly and in a way that the symptoms align with your existing medical issues to gaslight you and all your doctors... That takes dedication. I hope she's in jail.

Pouring drain cleaner in someone’s coffee and serving it, is such an unimaginable cruelty.

As a nurse student I had a lovely beautiful patient who lived from the 1960s through 1985 having drank drain cleaner to commit suicide in the rehab facility attached to our Hospital. Her story was very sad. she had fallen deeply in love with a wonderful man who had taken her away from poverty and they're only child was killed in Vietnam. Sadly it killed the husband he had been an older man and his heart couldn't take it within the year he was gone. She was so bereft and so alone even though his family loved her turned out that she was an orphan and had no family she had come from an orphanage in the 1930s and met him just after the war. She was the epitome of Elegance but that little darling you had to watch her because she dearly wanted to taste food and back then they couldn't save you they couldn't save anything and she had nothing below her vocal cords basically she was fed through a tube in her stomach luckily the drain cleaner didn't make it that far she vomited it up since it was so caustic I think she really drank the solid stuff and so she could only melt Jello and sherbet in her mouth and swallow that because she had to keep her throat lubricated. she could talk with a whisper so beautiful and so elegant and his family just adored her. Us nurses because I did get hired on there after training and getting some of my licensing and then going on for my bigger degree I stayed as they had a good reputation and I loved my patience some of them were who's who of Hollywood and some of them were people like her who had been left behind. Never quite understood his family they would bring boxes of candy they meant it for us nurses and her roommate they knew she couldn't eat any but that little stink pot would sneak a piece and she would always swear she meant to spi it out but it tastes so good and she really thought that it would melt enough to swallow and we'd be in there pounding a piece out of her throat. I was so glad for her when she was able to be released from this Earthly burden on an amazing rain and Thunder filled night unusual for California as she Slipped Away to meet her boys. I would never wish that life on anyone even if you accidentally drank it or someone fed it to you I just cannot imagine someone being horrible and doing that. It was so odd that all these years later my medical facility is Infamous for the doctor who tried to kill her husband with Drano. He caught her on video putting it in his coffee. She thought she could bamboozle the investigators. I hope she pays as she knew how much it would hurt him physically Not only was she trying to kill him but she tortured him doing it.

The skit in the background of the narration is really entertaining. It's not bad for most likely being relatively low budget. Great job investing into the addition of content for your videos. Wish they were more frequently uploaded but the production value and intriguing medical journals discussed is well worth the wait in between uploads. 💕
