Wife and I had been together for 10 years when this song came out. We were attending a very dressy family anniversary party for which she had chosen a stunning red outfit for the occasion. She was the organizer and left before I got home. When I walked in and saw her I thought my heart was going to stop, she was gorgeous. Family members were coming up to me all night and telling me how beautiful she was. We danced to this song and all I could think about was that I am the happiest guy in the world. Still together with the love of my life and tears come to my eyes when I hear this song. The words are on a plaque on our bedroom wall.

Can't listen without shedding a slight tear because my Dad loved this song as because it reminded him of my mother. Unfortunately they broke up when I was 2 and my mom went onto marry an amazing man who became my step dad and now an even greater poppy to my daughters. I lost my Dad suddenly in 2002 from sudden cardiac arrest when he was just 46 and I was 18. He passed just 3 months before my 1st of 3 daughters was born. Now I have 3 gorgeous and healthy girls and I surely taught them about him and danced to this song with them all in his honor. It means the world to me.

It was the night of my wedding, I had just danced with my wife, and I went up to dance with my mom and this song came on. I had just bought my mom a red dress to wear for the wedding.....so I got to dance with my mom, I will always remember this dance. My mom was diagnosed with cancer and sadly she passed away 2 weeks after the wedding....but someone had taken a picture of us dancing and I got the picture blown up and it is a treasured memory of that night. For me it wasn't a romantic memory of that song but more of a life shattering moment that brings a bitter sweet memory
