It seems somewhat simple and nonsensical at first, but it's a perfect way to describe the way in which a person we are falling in love with can seemingly sweep aside all the self-defensive barriers we've put up through our lives in response to heartbreak and loneliness and trauma, seeing the real you and letting you know THAT is the person who THEY are in love with. It's a great lyric to describe Jack Stauber's personal method of writimg lyrics, and I absolutely LOVE it.

Me being old...(44) I come from the era of Talking Heads, the Cars, The Cure... his sound has SO many tones/sounds that sound so much like those great bands. I don't think he ever says anything about them influencing his music, but I can just hear so much of those bands in his sound. He's awesome truly unique sound in these times. Well done, Mr. Stauber.
