What is crazy is how these new commands actually interract with rules they previewed. In your opponents turn, as a stormcast dragons player, you can target a dragons unit with a spell that buffs them, you can target them with a command to move them, you can target them with a command to charge them, then your formation ability can give them strike first, and then after you fight you can spend another CP to power through, deal more damage, and move. ALL in your opponents turn. Thats kinda crazy. Its going to make the game feel so interesting and I cant wait.

Vanguard tactics have also said that the custodes book is worse than ad mec specifically. They've stated that while ad mec is terrible, there's still multiple ways to run an army, there's still tricks and things to do. Custodes there's only so many ways you can run essentially 3-4 datasheets (minus characters).

These rules sound a lot better and smoother for better game running. Hard to think this comes out of the same company.

New AOS rules seem fun but I hope they keep a tight reign on the hoops you need to jump through to activate an ability and hope they are not going down the 'every unit has a unique ability' like they have done with 40K.
