One day, I was with my girlfriend in the park here in my neighborhood, sitting under a tree listening to this song and talking about something funny that I don't remember now, but I remember I was feeling comfortable and happy to be there with her, unfortunately, I lost her to leukemia three years ago, but whenever I hear that song, I go back to the moment when I was sitting in the park with her and I feel happy and comfortable again. Baby.. wherever you are, I know you are in a better place in peace waiting for me, someday I will be there with you.

It’s my dads birthday tomorrow. He would have been 57. This was his favourite song and was played as he left the church at his funeral back in May. Massive thank you to Robert Smith and the Cure for such good memories and making my Dad happy,

I’m a huge Cure fan and I think this is their best song. It wraps a melancholy chorus with an optimistic beat and it works on bringing out several emotions upon listening to it.

Yesterday I got so old I felt like I could die Yesterday I got so old It made me want to cry Go on, go on, just walk away Go on, go on, your choice is made Go on, go on, and disappear Go on, go on away from here And I know I was wrong When I said it was true That it couldn't be me and be her In between without you Without you Yesterday I got so scared I shivered like a child Yesterday away from you It froze me deep inside Come back, come back Don't walk away Come back, come back Come back today Come back, come back What can't you see? Come back, come back Come back to me And I know I was wrong When I said it was true That it couldn't be me and be her In between without you Without you Without you

Being a British schoolboy in the 80’s you had the cream of the crop : Duran , The Cure , O.M.D , Jesus & Mary Chain , Adam & The Ants , The Smiths , Joy Division , New Order , U2 , Depeche , the greatest period in British music history

I’m 13 years old, and I cannot say how much I love the cure. It has been my absolute favourite band along with Nirvana, U2 and Cocteau Twins. The cure has inspired me so so much, and has helped me find who I am and who I want to be.. ❤❤

I listened to this song on the way to the hospital the day my daughter was born, always brings back memories of her first cry.
