this song (like so many of lordes, but this one in particular) evokes a feeling that i feel much of us gen z have rn. idk, i j feel like even though weāre all being proactive towards the fight against climate change as humanly possible, we canāt help but feel a deep sense of hopelessness inside. the looming imbalance of power, wide spread oil-influenced corruption and unbearably hot weather serving as a reminder to our doom everyday outside is exhausting. it seems like for every step in the right direction, the road is paved 5 miles longer to treck. i rlly appreciate this song. its validated this feeling ive felt so guilty for having for these past few years and has given a sound to an emotion i could never describe

With all the pop and etc songs that are just lots of noise in the end, hearing such a beautiful and quiet melody is extremely satisfying. People say that this is too plain but on the contrary, it couldnāt be more perfect. We are so used to hear sounds blasting to our ears that we have forgotten what the meaning of music is.

I just wanna say that I'm struggling with my depression and this new album is healing me in someway, that's so powerful...Lorde's art is always a cure for my soul and she's just came in the right time to me the sun in my life...
I'm just so grateful, it was everything I needed... I have strong panic attacks and anxiety too but this album makes me feel stronger and it gives me peace and relax, it feels like a long meditation session š±

This is one of my favorite songs from Solar Power. The progression of the song from the start feels like a cup of coffee but you didn't finish drinking it.
