Still seems crazy to me that I don’t hear more people talking about how awesome Taylor is doing with this band. As others said, her voice is amazing, but it is also pretty distinct to me, and the band can actually change up their style a bit and not miss a beat! Keep kicking ass! As much as I want to hear the full band, It’s still great to hear one of the new songs live!

What I really like about her performance here is that she doesn't add any exaggerated vibrato on the longer sustains, which is SO easy to do with an "unplugged" (vocal forefront) version. She really is becoming a better singer as she goes along, which is saying something, as she was always pretty damn strong vocally in my opinion. Thanks for showing us this version.

There are many interesting and subtle choices she is making that renders her vocals so unique and fresh. That long held "Love" has no vibrato on it. The listeners desire for an added vibrato on the tail end of that note, especially with the grit in her voice is almost unbearable! Yet every time she delivers that, she is subtly changing it to keep the song moving and fresh. Immensely enjoyable!

Personally, I don't think Taylor Momsen gets enough credit for her projection. Her tone is iconic for being on the lower side, of course, and the number of female artists who've got that god damn delicious rasp I can only count on one hand lol BUT when you really listen to her, especially when she's live, you can undoubtedly tell that that voice has power behind it straight from the abdomen 👌

Momsen has a unique voice in that while she sounds extremely soft she can be raspy and raspy at the same time. She can easily express a lot of feeling through her voice, her timbre, and her vocal technique.
Certainly the most amazing singer that has emerged in the last decade and has become one of the best in rock n roll.
