I'm a Jewish anti-zionist who was born in Israel and still living here (until rampant Jewish fascism runs me out soon...)
I've listened to many things Corbin said about Israel and Zionism and I can tell you that not only do I not believe in the slightest that he is an antisemite, but I actually agree with everything he says and think that it should be heard more.
Zionists simply love to equivocate criticism of the actions of Israel with antisemitism (according to them I'm a "self-hating Jew" just because I'm against ethnic cleansing), and their rhetoric is adopted happily by right-wing politicians around the world - many of whom are actually antisemitic. It has gotten to the state where Netanyahu and his fascist allies are happily cooperating with open neo-Nazis from Europe and the US, just because they share their hateful and supremacist views, and especially their Islamophobia.
We should all stop falling into their transparent and incidious traps, and realize that criticism of Israel is not only completely separate from antisemitism, but actually necessary from anyone who is against racism and oppression.

I had to take a break from constantly paying attention to political stuff for my mental health so I haven't heard Bernie for a year or two. I find it so funny that he says the same things now as he did 25 years ago and yet the people that interview him seem like its the first time they've ever heard about income inequality or what we can do to fix it. The immediate switch to the mitten topic also shows all you need to know about how worthless mainstream media is all around the world. Its embarrassing.

On behalf of striking teachers I also want to put out there that the pay increase we did receive wasn’t funded by the government. I’ve been teaching for 6+ years and schools have had a budget crisis for that entire time, then were expected, at the same time energy bills were skyrocketing, to find money for a pay increase too. A huge part of the strike is for a fully funded pay increase so that the children don’t lose even more through the Government’s poor decisions.

I think the reason Bernie keeps focusing on these issues in the US and kind of dismissing his own knowledge of UK politics is because he knows, or he's been advised, that we're much more critical of societal issues when they're other countries', especially america's, so he's gonna get a more positive response talking about his ideas in the context of the US

"You don't look very angry." Probably because he's not just generally angry at people, he's angry at systems. Under the friendly smile and soft spoken mannerisms is a man boiling with rage against the people and systems that hurt the poor and working class.
