Ok, how did he NOT cover the crimson grapefruit? Thatās a wild story right there.
So back in the 1950ās, some farmer was like, āman, these grapefruits arenāt very sweet, and their flesh isnāt very appealing. Wonder if I can change that?ā So he planted a bunch of grapefruit trees in concentric circles and then stuck a rod of Uranium in the middle of all the circles and called it a day.
The ones at the center died, the ones at the outer edge did nothing and the ones in between mutated into the red grapefruit we all know and love. Because uranium was really popular after the war.
