When you guys are cutting plastics, angle grinders aren't the best. Get a blue point mini reciprocating saw. The fine blades leave a nice edge and you can drill the corners to "connect the dots" in a way. The drill bit then leaves a nice rounded corner.

Unpopular opinion but I really liked those first eBay headlights. They compliment the tail lights and overall look better.
