Lรผtfi KaลŸฤฑkรงฤฑ, an MHP party lawmaker, was live on Bengรผ Tรผrk TV when he suddenly started running as the tremor was felt. The camera operator also started running, the shaky footage showed. The mayor ofย Turkey's Hatay province said there were reports of people stuck under the rubble after the quake.

The two larger earthquakes that hit on 6 February, which also rocked neighbouring Syria, left more than a million homeless and killed at least 47,000 people in both countries, according to an official tally.

The way he ran out from that building as quickly as he could and not finishing the interview is something we all understand now.

This is a man who is suffering with PTSD. Many survivors and rescuers will suffer same fate as well as Depression.

I've had PTSD since I was 3 years old after experiencing an intense earthquake and I swear, whenever I fell a tremor this is exactly how I react. The body and mind just switch to flight mode and my feet just run on their own without me thinking about it. I can 100% imagine how that man was feeling at that moment. My heart goes out to all the people in Turkey and Syria right now ๐Ÿ™

I was once on a Greek island when a major earthquake hit Athens. It comes so quickly you have almost no time to react. Also the body tends to stiffen because of the fear. Very strange experience.
