I have listened to this song for years. And every time it makes me cry. Every god damned time. Granted all of Amanda Palmers music makes me cry. I don't know what I would do during bouts of artists block without her music. The things I can't express, they are expressed through her music.

Amanda Palmer is a fantastic artist. Once every now and then, you come across a song that moves you so deeply you can't get your head around it. This is one of those songs, and every time I listen to it I feel the same way about it. Art like this is what makes my life truly meaningful. It also makes me want to make music.

I showed this song to a friend of mine. A few days later, she convinced me to perform it at an open mic night. Over the 11 years we have been friends, she has given me the strength to get onstage and just sing.
