Periphery has a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy. Half the people arguing in the comments cant even play in instrument, your points therefore hold very little value. If you are a musican of any kind you would understand how things work for example: Spencers vocals be it his cleans or screams blend into the songs so well and they are fitting for what is being played in the songs.

I remember sitting in my bed on a Saturday morning with my shitty HP laptop that barely ran, browsing YouTube and just randomly clicking on this. My 8th grade mind was blownnnnnnnnnn. This album got me into this genre and has helped my drumming grow and be what it is today. The nostalgia is real.

This is the most important metal album of the modern era, and I don't feel that is up for debate. This album changed everything, for everybody in the genre. Production, how to record modern music, the guest spots, the moments on the album, I could go on all day with reasons why this is objectively the most important single modern metal album. The more I learn about production, mixing, arrangement, composition, etc. in metal, the more this album's importance is made even clearer.
