It sounds like sheās describing the end of youth. The imagery is very evocative of adolescence and young adulthood: roller skatin' in the parking lot, lollipops, confetti on the floor. This seems like the best time sheās had and she realises itās over when she sees āblack sequins disappearingā, perhaps signifying that she's changed the way she dresses, changes in style that reflect a change in her mindset.
