Barry Sherman was Canada’s top pharmaceutical executive, worth over $4 billion dollars. His wife, Honey was a philanthropist who raised millions for charities. They were loved and admired for their success and generosity. But Barry also had a long list of enemies which had grown over time as he battled rivals in courtrooms and boardrooms, always determined to win, whatever the cost… So when the couple were found strangled in their Toronto home in December, the whispers began. Did someone really hate them enough to kill them? Was it a professional hit, an act of bitter vengeance from someone known to the Shermans, or was there another explanation? The Fifth Estate uncovers new leads in the mystery of the Sherman murders.

I always found it interesting that legal drug companies mirror illegal drug cartels

Kerry has been so steeped in hate and pain from his relationship with Barry, he can't tell the difference between fact and fiction. His sense of betrayal is huge. A point; the boys got bad legal advice. They should have sued Barry for 20% of the selling price of their father's company, NOT 20% of the "new" company. They were legally entitled to 20% of their Dad's company, NOT Barry's company.

Someone please explain why this state of the art mansion didn’t have a single security camera...

I was skeptical of Keri Winter and on the fence about Dr Barry Sherman until I heard: "I have cousins all over the world. I don't go see them." Oh yeah, well how many of those cousins' parents took you under their wing and provided for and protected you when you needed it? That statement alone speaks volumes about Sherman's character.

“you were each like a lock and a key; both pretty useless on their own.” might be the most unintentionally savage thing ever lol

Kerry strikes me as that criminal that can't keep himself from talking and talking and talking, until he implicates himself...

Even though their funeral was well attended, it sounds like this was a ruthless and greedy couple who will not be missed.

People even struggled to find something good to say about these two at the funeral.

Barry Sherman tried to ruin the life of a professor who disagreed with a drug he wanted to market. she researched it and found side affects he didn't want that to come to light so he ruined her professionally. He's an awful man and she was pretty awful too. No one deserves to die but he made one too many enemies.

The announcer kept talking about how generous this couple was. People who understand the story of the widow's mite know that the poor person who gives $10 is much more generous than this couple ever was.

"Billions they made, tens of millions they gave away" - says it all for me. It's 1%. Punchline of this documentary.

How could these billionaires not have a state of the art camera and security system? Very strange.

I feel bad for Barry Sherman cousin. It must be hard for him when he lose both of his parents and his cousin betray him. That painful.
