Johnny seems like a genuinely great person. I love how he still dresses emo even though the trend died years ago and what that means to me is he isn’t some fake person doing whatever is trendy at the time that’s just who he is. I use to be in the music scene playing guitar/singing in my pop punk band so I know a lot of musicians and I stopped playing live shows like 9 years ago and looking at so many people that were in the music scene nowadays so many look like they are a manager of a T-Mobile store lol and some of these people have came to my shop and when they hear My Chemical Romance playing in my shop they say stuff basically saying “you haven’t grown out of that phase yet” and how they haven’t listened to that kinda music in years acting like I’m weird. I say well I’m not a trendy person I never started listening to any music because everyone else did, I didn’t dress anyway because it was the cool thing to do, I didn’t start a pop punk band because all my friends did I actually got a lot of shit for it alot of my non music friends at the time told me pop punk was garbage and I should start a metal band. This dude stopped with the funny talking shit to me kinda attitude he was giving me and said well I have a wife and a kid now so, you know. I said yeah me too and I still have band stickers on my car
