Ok, allow me to explain the story for the people who don’t understand it: In 1951, Donna and Frank Bell give birth to Gloria, which will be the oldest of 7 other children. Donna and Frank were some hard workers, they designed the house (the main setting of the story) and they (debatably) also Drunk a fair amount of booze, but not enough to call them drunk. But they also never gave too much attention to Gloria. They give all their love to the other children, specially the youngest one of all, Cleopatra. Gloria also had to take care of their brothers while her parents weren’t home, so it’s fair to say she started to drink around that time as a way to cope with responsabilices and life itself. Moving on to 1979, Gloria married William Sparks (or Mr. Sparks, for short) and lived in a little department in Manhattan. At this time, Gloria was addicted to drugs and alcohol and had a few affairs in her local bar, one of which ended up in her being pregnant with Jimmy. But as she had her little escapades, her mother, Donna became very ill and was admitted in a hospital, same hospital where a few months later, she died. But not before giving the property of the house to Gloria and Mr. Sparks. A few months later after the birth of jimmy, Gloria starts to fall deep into her Alcoholism and drug addictions, making her erratic and aggressive. Ending up in a freak accident where a truck crashes into her car while getting Mr. Sparks to the hospital and Gloria running away just to never be seen again. Mr. Sparks, against all odds survives the crash and ends up taking care of Baby Jimmy, but without any money whatsoever, he gets an low paying job and starts ranking up debt, he also presumably starts drinking around this time (it’s also theorized that he also decided to rob a bank around that time as well.) Jimmy grows up to be something of a criminal himself, presumably getting into jail several times (metaphorical and literal jail as seen in the song “my cell”) before finally getting a job as prison guard at a minimum wage (ironically enough.) In this time around jimmy meets Bonnie, who a few years later gave birth to Junior Sparks. Things apparently start looking great for the Spark Family, but then Bonnie decides to leave for Denver as she had other plans to live for, This left Jimmy devastated, and in a fit of desperation for money to pay his debts, and take care of his son, he starts to gamble and develops an addiction.. as well of keeping up with the alcoholism that runs on his family. As Junior grows up, he odes to himself that he’ll break the chain, decision that finally solidified when he starts fighting with his father during a party (seen in the leader of the landslide,) and decides to leave for Denver as well in search for his mother… but as he was driving on the drive way, saw his father all beaten up by the ones he owned money walking trough. In that single moment, Jimmy decides to do one last favor to his dad, robbing a bank in order to pay his debts. When junior finally arrives home to see his dad inside his home, he sees that the police getting to the old house. So he decides to ran away with him… but the engine of that beaten up car finally gives out. Junior tries to tell his dad that they need to run away, but his dad finally decides that, in order for him to escape with the money, he needs to stand up against the police. Junior with a heavy heart gives him the gun, and starts running away while his dad fights the police, ending with his life in the process. Junior runs away just to never been seen again. Ending the story of the Spark family. There’s of course other theories like “phone booth baby is not Jimmy” or other, but this is the most widely accepted story in the community. if I, for some reason forgot a detail, or somebody has an objection, feel free to add them in the replies and I will edit them in later. I’ll probably going to edit this later because my grammar is not my strongest suit anyway, so feel free to add them.

My kiddos and I cried when we first saw this. Gloria reminds them of their father, who passed due to his addictions. My life's purpose is to stop the cycle for my kiddos 😢
