It truly saddens me how low AEW is going with their very first game. All of this âDLCâ shouldâve ALL been part of free updates and actual DLC shouldâve been stuff like a New Japan roster pack with the Forbidden Door arena or a Ring of Honor roster pack with some ROH arenas like Supercard of Honor, Death before Dishonor, and Final Battle. If the current content was free while everything I mentioned couldâve been DLC, then this game wouldâve been WAY much better than what we have now. Such a damn shame on how it has turned out.đ

It really makes you appreciate WWE 2K23. Like, dude. we're in 2024, no way we need to be asking for games that resemble games that was made with the technology for 1999. I really wanted to enjoy this game but I havenât played it from the week it came out. The caw is insultingly bare the career mode is boring and the dlc is EA levels of bullshit. I really wanted a decent competitor to the 2k series as that was great for everyone but this is not it.

This game should've add competition to wrestling games market, but not only it's worse than WWE games (which is understandable, it's the first one), but it's even more money-hugry for the stuff you can download in WWE community creations for free.

Itâs like they wanted to make a legitimately good game, but then someone found the Vince Russo of video games to assassinate it from the inside. People were already pretty iffy about it but it was the first game, and then itâs like they did a speedrun of self-sabotage.

These ridiculous prices are scaring away gamers. The least they could have done was give the DLC away for free to season pass holders. Even a year after it was released, God of War: Ragnarok gave away a free DLC called Valhalla.
