I quit my job after 10 years working for a major insurance company. I got my CDL, learned how to drive a truck, and drove the truck all over the country for an entire two years. I have been to every state multiple times, I've seen all of the beautiful mountains and valleys, and I've been to the shores in all of the states that touch the ocean. It has been an awesome two years! This song has been my theme song that entire two years. I left behind my stressful corporate job, got in my truck, and just drove away, leaving all of the stress and nonsense behind.

I cannot even begin to thank Lana for this song. Iām neurodivergent and I canāt help feeling like no one understands or likes me. I feel like Iām fucking crazy. I donāt hurt people but I still feel guilty for being the way I am. I always try to be kind and easygoing and Iām naturally empathetic but no one gets it. My personality feels so fluid. I love everyone but I canāt be around them and feel normal. I feel like a weirdo and I feel incapable of being normal. āActing naturalā is just that- acting. I donāt have any real friends that arenāt just family friends. I feel like they secretly hate me. Sometimes people are nice to my face but make fun of me for trying my best. I want to be protected and loved by someone. I canāt tell anyone because I feel so unhinged. I donāt trust my perception of other people and situations. I get walked on and I canāt tell if what theyāre doing is fine and Iām either just victimizing myself or Iām the most tolerant doormat ever. My personality is deep and ebbing and flowing and passionate on the inside but falls flat to everyone else. Nobody has a window to the inside. I feel like a bad person and I feel narcissistic for even believing that I have any positive qualities. Iām tired. Iām tired of feeling like Iām fucking crazy.
