I quit my job after 10 years working for a major insurance company. I got my CDL, learned how to drive a truck, and drove the truck all over the country for an entire two years. I have been to every state multiple times, I've seen all of the beautiful mountains and valleys, and I've been to the shores in all of the states that touch the ocean. It has been an awesome two years! This song has been my theme song that entire two years. I left behind my stressful corporate job, got in my truck, and just drove away, leaving all of the stress and nonsense behind.

To me, this is my most personal Lana song. I can't listen to this without crying. It reminds me of everytime I cut or nearly drank myself to death. Or the lonely nights I would spend in my truck, homeless. A drunk coke addict with nothing to look forward to but death. And yet, Lana would help me pull forward. I can only wish I could tell her how much she means to me. Thank you Elizabeth Grant for everything you've done ❤ You may not know it, but your music has saved a life, at the very least, my own

A girl from my school killed herself today. I wasn't even close with her, and yet I'm here sobbing. She was more than fine just a few months ago, she was a lovely person... I hope her soul is at peace now.
