Watch the moment clinical psychologist and public intellectual Dr Jordan Peterson breaks down in tears from a line of questioning by Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

In the wide-ranging interview, Dr Peterson discusses life, God, heaven and hell but it was one particular moment he couldn’t contain his emotions when delivering his answer.

Mr Morgan questioned the famous clinical psychologist about what is the “best and worst thing about being Jordan Peterson?”

Dr Peterson replied by saying the worst thing is that he is “a bit much” and “running in all directions” which can be hard on people around him.

“I’m a bit much, man,” he said.

“The best thing about being me – it’s overwhelming really – the deep appreciation that people have for what I’ve been doing.

“It’s stunning, it’s soul destroying but it’s amazing.”

Dr Peterson continued to state, “it’s a strange thing to have far more than you could ever imagine … that’s my life, I have far more than I could ever imagine – I didn’t think it was possible.”

Authentic compassion. This is why he resonates. He still holds to his truth and suffers for his convictions to save us from ourselves. True masculine, strong, loving man. I aspire to be so brave as him. Lets pray he doesnt get silenced or worste.

This man has saved my life. I read both his books at my worst times in undergrad. I thank him for everything and I tell him to everyone who needs help

"Is marriage good for you?" Marriage to a good person is good for you. Marriage to a controlling, manipulative individual is much, much worse than not being married.

I am so hit by this. Tears of gratitude... What a rare thing and a rare person to have that kind of humility. That's quite a thing to think about.

I think Dr. Peterson is moved by the amount of pain he sees in everyday people. He wishes to help them with simple advice. And as he said, he never imagined he could have so much in his life. Bravo.

He's a positive father figure for millions of people he's never met. I'm sure it's overwhelming. I'm not even religious but God bless him

Worst thing about being JP? - "I am a bit much for those around me". What a loving and compassionate answer. Not considering what was worse for himself, but how it impacts people he loves. I am impressed with this answer.

His appreciation for the things he has in life is possibly the biggest reason that he is able to offer so much to the people who listen to & converse with him. His humility is what makes him so human & so unlike many of the people out their that profess to being so called influencers & advisors. Possibly one of the greatest minds of the 21st century so far.

I can say now is my life has changed since meeting John Desmond Heppolette . He has helped me become debt-free and save for retirement." I made over six figures during this dip, which made it clear there's more to the market than we average joes know. Having an investment adviser is currently the best course of action, especially for those who are close to making losses....

I’m a grown man and I’m not afraid nor ashamed to say that I adore this man. Probably the only person in the public eye that I have any respect for.

A lot of people feel like Jordan Peterson is either the Dad they never had, or always wanted, or at least a great mentor. I do think he genuinely cares about people.

I feel that way a lot when I talk about my best friend. I become overwhelmed by how much love she’s shown me and how validated she makes me feel. I may seem sad, but I’m simply incredibly grateful.
