The thing that always gets me is in motion sickness Phoebe says āI hate you for what you did, and I miss you like a little kid.ā She decides to use āandā instead of ā, but I miss you like a little kid.ā The word ābutā in that context has somewhat of an apologetic tone to it. By using āandā instead of ābutā shows that sheās aware of his behavior and she doesnāt except it anymore.

One of my favorite aspects of Phoebe's songwriting is her ability to turn something absolutely mundane into an insanely poetic lyric. Like she can literally write about light pollution or walking to the nearest CVS on a weekday and it'll give Album of the Year vibes.

my absolute favourite song on this album is Georgia like PLS "if i fix you will you hate me" KILLS ME EVERY TIME. I think that it hits harder because as someone who always feels the need to fix people its like you can try so hard to "fix" someone when really you're just changing who they are and that can cause them to feel so much resentment towards you even though you think you're helping them
