Pimple fighting advice:
When I was a teen in the 80s, my acne was so bad I was a clone of the moon. Years in high school were terrible. A friend of mine barely ever got any. One day, he was washing his hair at the kitchen sink [long hair was in then]. While drinking my coffee I noticed he would take the suds from his hair and smother his face with them, waited a few seconds, then rinsed everything off. I asked him after what that was about. He told me that if shampoo suds are made to suck the oil out of his hair, it should do the same for his face. I never thought of that, so I tried it. Kid you not, within the first month spreading using the suds to my face, everything started drying out and clearing and actually did a great job controlling outbreaks compared to all the skin meds and prescriptions out back in that time.

Don't worry, I have an entire battle plan for this!
- First I was my hands
- I pop the pimple
- I squeeze until it bleeds to get everything out
- I was my face with a natural honey based face wash (honey works well against bacteria)
- I wait until the pimple isn't open any more, if it was still bleeding at this point
- I put face cream on my face to care for the skin and avoid scars
- If it turns into a small wound instead of a pimple, I try to not touch it any more in the future
I'm proud to say that after a lot of popped pimples, I do not have a single scar on my face

I used to get cystic acne (still do on occasion) and if I left the pimple alone it would get absolutely massive (like a bean under the skin), hurt like hell and take 2 months to go away or more. If I popped them they at least would stop growing and hurting. Now I mostly get pustules which basically pop on their own because of the pressure and how thin the skin on them is. I usually put some zit cream on them and will try to squeeze out any gunk left over after they pop and they heal pretty quickly, if I ignore them they last way longer or turn into worse acne.

if you really want to pop it, hereâs the best way:
-wash your hands
-find a fine needle or push pin
-sterilize it with a lighter
-puncture the head of the pimple
-put a tissue on both fingers youâre using to squeeze, or use cotton swabs to squeeze the pus out
-make sure ALL contents are out
-wash the area gently
-if the area bleeds, apply pressure with a tissue until the bleeding stops
-apply acne cream to the area to avoid scarring
-WEAR SPF TO AVOID SCARRING AND DAMAGE

My husband didn't touch one that was on his left cheek, but it got worse and turned into a bigger bump. Then it turned purple like a bruise! So we used pimple popping tools and some medicine after and it went away within a few days. Now looking like it never happened. Sometimes if you use the right tools and medicine to get rid of it, it won't scar or leave a dark spot.

I used to have issues with skin picking & yeah, my arms/face looked horrible. Took me years to learn that it makes sense for the body to take care of it on its on (though I guess there are heavy cases where help is good/required) & to not touch them. I mostly don't pop them anymore & when I started with that it was crazy for me to see how quickly they just disappear.
Pro tip: PREVENTION. Best thing you can do is to not consume hormones & pus which are in animal products. My skin cleared up so much switching to plants & it got even better when I cut out added oils & sugars. Of course, it's normal for many to have pimples in puberty- but removing pushing factors can help.
