In reply to the question about sweating and moisturizer: I realized that (at least in my case) it was because I was applying after a hot shower, so my body was still trying to eliminate heat. To combat this I started finishing my showers cold, which isn't as bad as you might think because you can slowly lower the temp towards the tail end of the shower, both benefitting your skin and using less energy to make hot water.

22 years old and went in to the dermatologist to check a mole that was growing under my toenail. It showed up when I was like 6 years old and hasnāt changed since then. On a whim I had a doc check it out. They did a biopsy and turns out itās precancerous and we caught it just in time. Got it removed and everything is good. The anticlimactic stories are the best ones. Get those moles checked!

Just came here to say that I've been following you two (Dr.Maxfield, Dr.Shah/ Doctorly ) since the early days, like many others. And it just warms my heart that you do have come such a long way. It shows! you guys are so confident on camera now (not that you were ever underconfident, just reached tv star levels now), you're getting interviewed by big channels, etc. And all the while doing such honest and helpful service to humanity! lots of love.

I had insane amount of acne in my school years. But as soon as I graduated 95% of it disappeared. Turns out, I was lactose intolerant. It was causing all the embarrassing acne, backne, gas, and bathroom problems. We/ I was just too poor to get medically checked. School food was always cheesy, creamy, or overly salty. School should have had more options

I'm so glad you talked about hormonal acne! I didn't even know that was a thing! I've been having acne around my chin that just doesn't seem to go away (mostly due to me picking at it tbh) but now at least I understand why it's there in the first place

As someone who has very fair skin, I use spf 50 and still turn pink but have tanned with spf 100. Generally I just keep my pale self out of the sun.

I do understand the ādonāt pop a pimple thingā in principle but in my actual life Iāve had very similar pimples next to each other and when I donāt pop them, they last much longer and do scar. When I do pop them they go away quickly and donāt scar. I donāt know if my skin is just weird but Iāve seen this numerous times. I do wait to pop them until they come to a head and do it as cleanly as possible.
