eating disorders are a real thing, and a real pain.
there’s a girl in my class who doesn’t eat anything at lunch time (school lunches, i live in japan) and she passed out just a few days ago. it was hard for everyone in the class, her friends, and her family. she’s really skinny, and even before she passed out she would get sick all the time, and couldn’t do P.E. ever. i live in a aussie family (big builds, big eaters 😆) so i don’t really get the pain, but i just wish people would understand how serious it is. i really care about that girl. people who talk about eating disorders online are just spreading awareness, and whoever wrote that comment is just proving how much we need to spread awareness.

i think it's also important to know that people who have severe eating disorders can still be in large bodies. People who are in BMI categories classified as overweight or even obese can have life threatening restrictive eating disorders, so even if Jax had never been that thin (or even thin at all) she could have still had a serious eating disorder.
