After being a fan from the age of 12 i finally got to see the Cure on the Wish Tour 30 years ago. I was in the nose bleed seats but was still so happy just to be in the room with someone who had reached into my teen aged soul and pulled out all of the little things inside it and displayed them out musically for me to explore who i was and let me know that my odd affinity for wearing only black until they made something darker ok no matter what the kids i went to school with said and did to me.
Thank you Mr. Smith. I owe you a debt.

I remember being 14 and wearing black clothes only and listening to this song on my tape recorder and couldn't refrain from dancing and singing I was aware of people looking at me and thinking I was a nutcase Nobody in the world can realize what it means when your spirit and life is kept high by such a lovely tune.....
