Reynard, I have been waiting for your to-the-point, no nonsense advice. I always agree with your concepts and enjoy your chill posts. One thing....LOL.
I am an artist and architect, and disagree that the colors of your art should compliment the colors in the room. Also matching the same style of art to the style of the room is often just boring. Example: in a very traditional, muted living room, a huge pop art artwork that matches nothing usually looks great! The clash of styles creates a strong tension that can be VERY interesting and immediately intriguing and dynamic. This is the OPPOSITE of what you would expect to see. This of course would become the focal point, so I agree that it is important to control focal points. Or a very detailed, refined, almost Gainesboro style painting against a rustic brick wall would do the same thing. Thanks for posting.

Your videos are super helpful and I absolutely appreciate your taste in interior design! There is something so beautiful and calming about the styles you show in your videos (Japandi, Scandinavian, warm minimalism and so forth). Love that so much! Great style of filming and video editing, too!
Be blessed!

Hi Reynard! This is a good video from you as always, but I think some editing mistakes were left in this one:
1:17, 1:30, and 9:37 - there are photo credits in the corner, but no photo
9:44 - the screen goes black suddenly
7:59 - this is minor, but the A roll is peeking from underneath the photo
I still learned a lot from this video, just thought you'd appreciate the feedback. Thanks!
