From the windswept prairies of Champaign-Urban, IL to Nashville, TN, OTNES' musical journey is as diverse as the landscape that nurtured it. In their new project, OTNES, fka Emily Blue, makes indie pop that embraces personal evolution and fearlessly dives into experimentation, fusing dreamy synthscapes with vibrant shades of modern pop. This is my favourite session since Anemone was here. I saw Otnes as a 2pc opening for Donny Benet last night in Toronto. I would love to see the whole band. What deal with the devil did you make to get that rhythm section? Otnes, if I could give you something back, I would tell you to check out the Audiotree session with Anemone, (Beat My Distance). My awesome Quebecois neighbours. Everyone should have a francophone section in their record collection.
