I’m gonna throw out some observations on Ariana’s “not having a storyline”. ariana likely never wanted go as hard on the drama for reality tv because she didn’t want her career to peak there. She has always wanted more entertainment jobs and even went to college for theater. I think other cast mates are mad because her storyline has been easy for a long time since her and Tom went quite a distance and now that she’s been smart enough to take advantage of her momentary name recognition to launch her career in the fields she always wanted, it’s frustrating to the cast members who haven’t had as much success in the traditional entertainment business and haven’t had their life together enough to play the “easy” role. I do want to add that it isn’t Ariana’s fault that her storyline was easy, someone likely would’ve been in that role since reality tv needs some static characters. You also have to ask yourself why anyone would change up their role if they’re comfortable in that spot and their life is genuinely more “boring”. I just think Lala can say all she wants that what she’s given is “more” but they essentially both had the same strategy by simply showing up as who they were, it’s just that Lala’s version of that was very messy for a long time and she was proud to make those moves on and off camera. She never backed down and that’s on her because that’s what she chose to do. I mean, she isn’t saying she faked everything for the cameras or that production was telling her to get with Randall or do any of the things she has in her personal life. And it’s funny how now that she’s not much of a party girl and stays home more like Ariana has, people are calling her storylines out for being boring like with the water tasting.. so, to sum it up, I don’t think this “not having a storyline”thing is as accurate or criminal as people think it is.
