Track list! (As Requested by Mr. David Smith) Tales of Brave Ulysses - Cream I'm so glad - Cream Born on the Bayou - Creedence Clearwater Revival Deep purple - the painter (a really great song from mk1 purple) Gotta get to know you - Foghat (I highly recommend listening to the whole 1972 debut album! if you haven't already) I'll be Creepin' - Free (this band is so much more than "All Right Now" I love the Bass playing in this, and if you do too then I recommend listening to "Mr. Big" by the same band) Inside Looking Out - Grand Funk Railroad (This is a great cover of an Animals song, I feel like the whole Red Album by GFR has a "Fuzz" sound reminiscent of Early Punk music, which makes sense as they were from Detroit as well! Mark Farner comes up with all kinds of heavy sounding riffs in this album which is a must listen for any Blues Rock connoisseur.) Dazed and Confused - Led Zeppelin (You probably already know that but have you heard the 30 minute live version?) A House is not a Motel - Love (The whole "Forever Changes" Album is must listen material) On the Road Again - Canned Heat Soul Sacrifice - Santana (Sounds like a live version, I'm not sure where its exactly from maybe someone will know) Sunday Night - Savoy Brown (This is an underrated track by and underrated band, check them out!! I'd start with Hellbound train and then explore their other albums) Hellbound Train - Savoy Brown Don't Step on the Grass, Sam - Steppenwolf I Feel So Good - Taste (Live at the Isle of Wight '70) Just listen to the whole concert if you liked this one, and be sure to check out Rory Gallagher's solo- albums) I can't keep from Crying Sometimes - Ten Years After (Great blues rock band from the era, my favorite album is Undead but I also love Live albums) Eight Miles High - The Byrds (you probably already know this one, but have you heard their lengthy live Jam that is loosely based around this song?) Waitin' For the Wind - Spooky Tooth (British Blues Rock GOLD right here, check out the whole album it's called Spooky Two I believe.) Psychotic Reaction - Count Five (I've always loved this track, but my friends think it sounds like a Beatles song, I beg to differ. Kinda reminiscent of the 13th floor elevators) Ball and Chain - Big Brother and the holding Co. (Janis Joplin kills it in this performance!) Teacher - Jethro Tull I'm Your Captain - Grand Funk Railroad Sabbra Caddabra - Black Sabbath (Sabbath's music is just made for getting stoned to! I love almost all of their albums even the ones the critics hate!) And the Address - Deep Purple (Mk1) Season of the Witch - Donovan (For some people this song might be overplayed due to it being in many commericials, in that case check out the version with Steven Stills on guitar and Al Kooper on Keys) Ghost Song - The Doors/Jim Morrison (Oh my, I forgot about this one.) Spoonful - Ten Years After (I also thoroughly enjoy the live version by Cream) Swalbr - Cream Long Cool Woman - The hollies (I actually found out that this song has got popular again by it being on Tiktok, I made this video before that so please forgive me if it sounds overplayed) The Pusher - Steppenwolf Slow Ride - Foghat (Overplayed I know but so good! Love the bass playing and the slide guitar solo!) American Woman - The Guess Who ( another overplayed song but not many people have heard the whole version that was on the LP so here it is) Anyone please let me know if I made any mistakes, there's so much music out there it's easy to get song titles mixed up. Thank you all for the kind comments and likes! I was just bored during the lockdown when I made this, I didn't realize many people would be enjoying it.

Back in those days the kids used to hang listening to this music and having long discussions about the artists, the state of the world, stop the Viet Nam war, draft dodging etc. They were spiritual, artistic, philosophical, into poetry, psychedrlic Art deco and make love not war. ❀❀❀

I'm 70. This is the music I love best. Thank you for this great compilation of "Real" music. I believe Soul Sacrifice is either from Woodstock or a concert at Tanglewood one year after Woodstock.

77 here. Saw Cream on their first US tour in Boston. I was familiar with their music and had fallen in love with Clapton and his guitar. It was held in an empty warehouse, they had hung sheets of aluminum foil on the walls, and folding chairs to sit on. Jack and Ginger had some sort of disagreement, you could hear the squabble, and they came on a little late. I didn't care, I was tripping on acid and sat 25 feet from Clapton and watched the music flow from his guitar.
