Chega de Saudade, Portuguese for "No More Blues", is considered to be one of the first bossa nova charts to ever be recorded. The first recording of this chart, composed by AntΓ΄nio Carlos Jobim with lyrics by VinΓcius de Moraes, took place in 1957 on an album by Brazilian singer Elizete Cardoso. Playing on the title, the tune begins in a morose minor key, eventually morphing in to a happier major key. The tune has since grown into a standard of its genre, even being voted the sixth best Brazilian song of all time by "Rolling Stone".
