Lyrics that make me cry hearing: “I shouldn’t have to be the bigger person, How come I have to break to keep us working” “I got used to the excuses and emotional abuses” “But you don’t always choose the ones you love” “Maybe this time you’ll be the bigger person” “it’s always up to me” These lyrics make me cry so much because of my dad (he’s alive) I see him sometimes but he doesn’t live near me he lives in another city and he doesn’t even make an effort to build a relationship with me and he doesn’t even try to make one not one trip to come and see me but my mom literally has to go through the city he lives in to go to work sometimes and she stills comes home every night to the house I’m in, so she can if she has to make that trip multiple times a week and he can’t even make just one at least once, today when my mom came home from work she and my stepdad went for a walk and I didn’t go she told me to do a few chores before she left and while I was doing them I was listening to this and I couldn’t stop crying and when she got home she looked at me and asked “were you crying?” and I lied and said “no” she said “ok” and then started tearing up again and then she looked at me again and said “you are crying what happened?” I said “my nose is just runny I’m fine” she still says “ok” but yea my dad isn’t always the best so the two lyrics “I shouldn’t have to be the bigger person, How come I have to break to keep us working” and “I got used to the excuses and emotional abuses” are the worst for me 😢😭😭😭
