I was 11 when Hair came out. Loved it and cried all the way home. Saw it as often as I could. I still cry in the end at 55. I still have my hair growing, flowing, belowe my hips. And know every song, love this album and music. It affected my whole being, done many tributes in my art and styling career!

I was 18 years old, and a friend dragged me to see this movie. I LOVED IT and it changed my whole attitude toward musicals. I wore out the album, wore out a second one. switched to CD, but still have my album. Forty-five years later I can still sing all the lyrics....just as I'm doing today. Thank you Milos Foreman for this movie.

When Hair came, I was 15yrs and mesmerized at once 🥰 Learned all songs by heart, mum was not too happy me blasting about "cunnilingus" 😂 Had no idea, what that was, then. My all time favourite, Treat Williams was fenomenal. R.I.P

I absolutely love this movie, and it's my favorite all time musical after Grease. I was born in 1970, but even as a young child I knew the impact the Vietnam war had on our nation and my mom would tell me about the hippie culture. I love John Savage and Treat Williams, and their characters make the movie. Great movie. It never gets old.

I can't believe I've never seen this film. When I was eighteen, a female friend of mine, who loved Treat Williams, told me the plot, blow-by-blow, with hair and signs, and was moved when she told me the ending, while we listened to her double vinyl.
I wonder what became of her.💖😘
