Dunno how this got recommended to me as I know nothing about classical music and close to nothing about music in general. But I really like this. It's very beautiful. I can't perceive it the same way educated and experienced musicians can but whatever I do perceive with my brain this is very easy and pleasant to listen to, all the details are pretty, it's all so beautifully woven in together. It's these kinds of arrangements that really give you an idea of what the cello's strong advantage is compared to most stringed instruments; it replicates the range of the human voice. Having a song like Golden Hour where you can swap the vocals for the cello, it also sings.

Congrats on your successful recital. My friend performed her first year Master’s recital in operatic voice performance a couple of weeks ago. So relieved after hours and hours and hours and HOURS of practicing. Now she’s off to sing in Vienna over the summer, the poor thing.
