Hippocrates (father of medicine) believed that nutrition was the best form of medicine. 2500 years later, we are still discovering that his words still ring true. Our addiction to medication & opiods must end. Big pharma making huge profits from this and slowly but surely we are marching towards a very sick & dependant society. Eat healthy, walk everyday & importantly, love yourself & those around you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🌱 Understanding Stem Cells
- Stem cells are foundational cells in our body, present since conception.
- Stem cells are primarily located in bone marrow and the lining of the intestines, aiding in regeneration.
- Factors like high alcohol intake and diabetes can harm and impair the function of stem cells.
02:30 🧘 Impact of Stress on Stem Cells
- High stress levels can negatively affect the activity of stem cells.
- Stress acts like a hindrance, reducing the enthusiasm of stem cells to rebuild organs and tissues.
- The body, including the heart, brain, and nerves, continuously regenerates through the activity of stem cells.
03:10 🍽️ Boosting Stem Cells with Diet
- The Mediterranean diet has been linked to a fivefold increase in stem cells in circulation.
- Green tea and surprising enough, black tea, have been shown to increase stem cell numbers.
- Dark chocolate, specifically high flavonol content, can double the number of stem cells, improving blood flow and functionality.
05:55 🍎 Food as Information for Stem Cells
- The emerging science of nutrition goes beyond basic elements like calories and proteins.
- Food is viewed as information that regulates stem cells, DNA, microbiome, immune system, and angiogenesis.
- Stem cells, being unspecialized, have the potential to develop into various specialized cells, promoting self-hea

Worth considering, tea in large amounts can remove metals and some vitamins from the blood (much in the way alcohol does but less effectively) so paring high tea intake with low red meat can lead to deficiencies in Iron and Magnesium... lack of Iron can make you grumpy because you are excessively tired, while Magnesium is key to emotional balance and stability (so a deficiency is directly linked to erratic behaviour). Many big tea drinkers like myself know this and take supplements to compensate, however not everyone knows about this.

I have fibromyalgia and I recently discovered when eating a couple squares of Theo brand organic 70% orange dark chocolate that my out of control nerve sensation/pain/twitching in the evening calmed down (I already take magnesium so it wasn't the magnesium in chocolate).
I'm mentioning the brand because soy makes my nerve problems worse and most chocolate contains soy, Theo orange dark only has: Cocoa beans, cocoa butter, 9g sugar, orange oil per serving and thats it, no other added ingredients and it's the only dark chocolate I've had that had such a calming effect on my nerves (granted orange oil is also great at reducing cortisol).
However I must note that I only have one serving otherwise the excess sugar makes the calming effect on my nerves backfire lol

It starts at 3:04 - Mediterranean diet, green tea, black tea, dark chocolate (73%+ cacao twice a day doubled stem cells compared to control group and improved blood flow in one month).
