Pretty lady, thank you so much for this video. Part of the reason I thank you is not only because it was well made and you described the places eloquently and the footage was clear and beautiful, but also because before this video I honestly thought that Pike Place was just a fish market. I had no idea it wasn't whole experience so thank you so much and Peace.

I live in Seattle and used to eat at the Market often when I worked downtown. This video of yours is without a doubt the best I have seen anyone make for a tourist visiting Seattle. You scored 1,000 points with me just by avoiding Ivar's Clam Chowder which seems to be on everyone else's top 5 list.
A note about Three Girls Bakery (to die for!) - It is the first business in the city of Seattle licensed to a woman and the oldest continually operating business in the Pike Place Market.
New video challenge - how about best Asian food in Seattle? Or broaden it to best ethnic and hit some Ethiopian places.

One place my extended family and I ALWAYS go to is Mee Sum Pastry. We get there early enough to make it our "breakfast while walking." They open at 8AM and if you happen to go on Sunday, you can park on the street for free. Thank you for your awesome video. I will be sure to come back and watch it again before I come to the market again.

Another tip for the chowder: avoid super long lines by going to the location at the Pacific Place mall. There may still be a line but it's significantly shorter than the line at the market. Alternatively, place your order online and then pick up the soup. Just beware that you're not supposed to sit in the eating area if you go with the online ordering.

I enjoyed your Pike Place food tour. My wife and I flew to Seattle (from Milwaukee Wisconsin) for our 20th anniversary at the beginning of July in 2013 (10 days of zero rain!). We used the light rail into downtown every day, took local buses, ferries, the one mile mono-rail (to arrive as they did to the Space Needle during the '62 World's Fair), Amtrak Cascades train up the coast to Bellingham and back, but mostly A LOT of walking! We virtually went to Pike Place everyday. Went to Three Girl's Bakery several times and Pike Place Chowder three times. I highly recommend Bakery Nouveau in West Seattle. We found it by accident. We wanted a ferry ride and found the one that leaves near Pikes Place (very reasonable and scenic). Look it up, it's an international award winning bakery! Fabulous and charming (and a mega $'s gourmet coffee bar). In 2013 we ran into virtually no homelessness, what we saw never set off any alarms as to the future. Who knew....? Sure glad we went when we did!
