Gaslight Radio were an Australian indie rock band. It was founded by brothers, Martin (guitar) and Rory Cooke (vocals, guitar) with Simon Piper (drums) and Phil Roubin (bass guitar) at Burleigh Heads, Queensland in 1995. They released three studio albums, Hitch on the Leaves (September 1998), Z-Nation (2003) and Good Heavens Mean Times (July 2006), before disbanding in 2009.

I lived in burleigh when I was 16, moving from Melbourne was tough, this album carried me through that period. I know some of the guys came from that end of town and it fills me full of nostalgia. Thank you for putting this record up, I canāt seem to get it on vinyl so itās nice to listen to the whole thing.

Iām a 57 year old punk rocker from the uk who moved to oz in 99. Someone told me to listen to triple j and not long after I heard a cracking song which took me some time to locate long before Shazam ! That song was ātelescope breakdown ā wow, who sings this ? Then I got the album but why canāt I find anything other than āTina from Robinaā from that album on you tube ? Why do all the bands I love split up š¢ love you guys š
